Soft Furnishings Service Overview

Edison & Day have been manufacturing and supplying soft furnishings to the care and contract market for over a decade. We work alongside the UK’s largest contract fabric suppliers to ensure a service that is fast, easy & reliable to our customers.

Alongside our exceptional furniture offering, our soft furnishings and drapery service is second to none, supplying made-to-measure curtains, blinds and accessories to an impeccable standard. We’ll work with you on your refurbishment or new build project right from the beginning ensuring a smooth and effortless experience on your part.

Our Soft Furnishings Process

Creation of Brief/Samples

We’ll consult with you to fully understand your requirements and what you’re looking to achieve. Here we will get an overall understanding of preferred finishes, fabrics and can provide estimated costs.

Site Survey

We’ll attend site to survey the building. Dependent on the stage of the refurbishment we’ll work closely with site & project managers to ensure we understand the extent of works and communicate what we ourselves require such as batten location etc.

Pre Manufacture Check Measure

Prior to manufacturing the drapery, we’ll visit site and conduct a check measure.


Once final sign off has been granted we will manufacture your drapery ready for installation. Our lead times, quantity dependent, can be from as little as 10 working days from receipt of fabric.


If working on a supply only basis and/or the quantity of curtains is small, we’ll deliver these direct to site via courier ahead of our fitters arriving. On larger refurbishments and new builds, we’ll deliver via our own vans the morning of installation.

Installation and completion

Our experienced installation team will lay each curtain at each location, liaise with site & project managers to ensure everything is correct and commence installation. Upon completion a final walkaround is undertaken and signed off. Any snagging or finish issues are reported and actioned immediately.
