At Edison & Day® we’re dedicated to manufacturing and supplying high quality care home furniture that’s suitable across a spectrum of care home, contract and hospitality environments.
Each item of contract occasional furniture is made to order meaning that we’re really flexible around materials and finishes. Check out the “Top Materials” tab above for more detail on this.
We’ve spent years testing, developing and perfecting the care home coffee tables we supply to make sure that they’re safe, durable and perfect for the environment they’ll call home. Each piece is hand finished in our Salisbury factory and are quality checked at every stage in production.
Each Edison & Day® occasional table is made to order meaning that we can be entirely flexible around the materials used on the tops.
As standard, each contract coffee table table will usually come with either 19mm beech veneered MDF or 25mm ash veneered MDF. Each product identifies which is used.
Dependent on the location of the table and the suitability of different materials, Edison & Day are able to supply tops in the following materials:
Vinyl Wrapped – A durable finish that offers the ability to add detailing to each edge.
Edge Banded – A durable Melamine MFC top that is edge banded with 2mm ABS edging.
Solid Wood – Either Ash, Beech or Oak.
Marble / Granite – A natural stone product that is available in multiple edge finishes.
