Stunning and Functional: Our Recent Care Home Bedroom Concept

The brief was clear and concise, and we knew exactly what the client was looking for. They wanted a bedroom that was clean, bright, and calming, with a focus on nature and wellness. The room had to be functional and encourage resident independence, with an emphasis on storage for both consumables and resident artifacts.

We began our process by getting to know the client and understanding their needs. Our team worked closely with them to interpret their brief and develop a concept that met their requirements. We understood the importance of creating a space that was not only visually pleasing but also practical and functional.

To achieve the desired aesthetic, we employed fitted furniture that maximized the room's storage for both the resident and staff. We included concealed/lockable storage for consumables in this concept making use of what would otherwise be wasted or dead space. We paid attention to the details, ensuring clean lines on the furniture and good use of materials. Our team had a thorough understanding of what residents and their families want from a bedroom, and we incorporated that into our design.
