Our Process

From the beginning to the end of the project we take care of everything needed to ensure your home can open on time and so you can create stunning experiences for your residents, their families and your staff. Right from the initial consultation through to the design stages and procurement, adding the final paint colours to the walls and laying carpets then arranging the furniture, and even down to the smallest details when dressing your home.

Stage 1 - Consultation

WHAT WE DO

An initial consultation meeting takes place where we discuss all your aims and your brief to ascertain what you're trying to achieve. We also discuss your budget and timescales that you are working to for the project. In this stage, we also speak with your staff and your residents to find out their pain points and ways they could be resolved to make their lives easier.

WHAT WE DELIVER

A proposal outlining our findings to ensure we meet the brief and help you to achieve your aims.

THE NEXT STEPS

Once the proposal has been agreed on we then move on to the initial design concepts.

Stage 2 - Concept Design

WHAT WE DO

Initial concept designs are created in this stage with mood boards to show the proposed colour schemes and other finishes. Any structural alterations we suggest and proposed furniture layouts to show the use of space are also put together at this stage.

WHAT WE DELIVER

The design concepts together with mood boards and structural alterations. We also present an initial project cost proposal with estimates for any works needed, together with the furniture estimates and an outline programme.

THE NEXT STEPS

Once the design concepts have been approved and the costing estimates also approved we then move on to the detailed design and the product specification.

Stage 3 - Detailed Design

WHAT WE DO

Detailed designs, plans and schedules are produced at this stage, everything from the floorplans to electrical layouts to CGIs (computer-generated images) of the spaces to ensure you are able to visualise the space and for you to use in your marketing.

WHAT WE DELIVER

Detailed design schedules, floorplans and elevations, electrical and plumbing layouts etc., CGIs of the spaces and the FF&E and finishing schedules.

THE NEXT STEPS

Once this stage has all been approved by the client we then move on to the procurement process for the furniture, furnishings and decor.

Stage 4 - Procurement

WHAT WE DO

Once all the designs etc. have been signed off by the client we then present a detailed, priced schedule of all the works, furniture, furnishings and decor items room by room. Being a British contract furniture manufacturer we have extensive control over the procurement process.

WHAT WE DELIVER

A detailed, priced schedule of all works, furniture, furnishings and decor items.

THE NEXT STEPS

Once this has been approved we are then able to move on to the project management where works take place in your home and furniture is made.

Stage 5 - Project Management

WHAT WE DO

Once the client has approved the procurement stage, we move onto the project management stage where we still start by creating a detailed construction and fit-out programme. Once that has been agreed with the client the construction/alterations will begin within the home with constant communication with your dedicated project manager.

WHAT WE DELIVER

A detailed programme of events will be agreed upon with the client before the construction begins and whilst the construction is taking place furniture and furnishings will be manufactured ready for installation.

THE NEXT STEPS

Once the construction stage has been completed and the furniture has been manufactured and sourced we move on to the fit-out stage.

Stage 6 - Fit-Out

WHAT WE DO

Once the construction has been completed, the fit-out stage can commence when furniture, furnishings and decor are delivered and installed or placed within the home.

WHAT WE DELIVER

All soft furnishings and curtains are installed and all furniture and furnishings are placed within the home with all artwork, accessories and other items set out.

THE NEXT STEPS

With the home now fully complete and furnished the only thing left to do is ensure your staff know the best way to look after the home.

Stage 7 - Finish

WHAT WE DO

Create an operations manual together with care instructions to ensure your staff can keep your home looking as good as new for as long as possible. If necessary, we also arrange training for any equipment via the relevant suppliers.

WHAT WE DELIVER

Detailed operations and care manual together with any necessary training.
